I am a Washington, D.C.–based visual artist, educator, and founder of TheVintageVandalism, a creative practice centered on photography, storytelling, and cultural documentation. Working primarily through film photography, moving image, and archival processes, my work explores memory, Black identity, urban transformation, and the emotional landscape of everyday life. I am especially interested in how overlooked moments, neighborhoods, and people can become visual records of history and connection.

Alongside my artistic practice, I have spent more than a decade teaching Audio Visual Production to high school students in D.C. Through photography and media education, I help young people develop technical skills while encouraging them to use storytelling as a tool for self-definition and community engagement. My classroom and creative work often intersect, allowing me to build spaces where experimentation, collaboration, and cultural reflection can coexist.

My current projects include a photo journal titled I Saw a Rainbow Yesterday, documenting travel, community, and emotional memory through analog photography, as well as youth-focused film photography workshops designed to expand access to visual arts education. Across all of my work, I aim to create images and experiences that feel honest, reflective, and rooted in place
